Commercial Licence
SalsaFX Pro Commercial Licence
Licensor: Frank Hliva, Orechová 25, 821 06 Bratislava, Slovakia (IČO 44109806)
Software: @salsafx/ui-pro (SalsaFX Pro), including updates delivered under a valid licence.
These terms apply when you (the Licensee) obtain SalsaFX Pro under a commercial agreement instead of the AGPL-3.0 licence that covers @salsafx/ui. The quantity of seats, applications, or OEM rights is whatever your order confirmation or invoice states.
For a quote, see Contact. Install: SalsaFX Pro.
1. Grant
Section titled “1. Grant”Subject to payment and these terms, Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use SalsaFX Pro to develop, run, and distribute Licensee’s own products (HMI, SCADA, dashboards, and similar), including closed-source and commercial products.
This licence does not require you to publish your application source under AGPL.
2. What you may do
Section titled “2. What you may do”- Use SalsaFX Pro in internal tools and in products you ship to your customers.
- Bundle the compiled Pro components into those products.
- Modify Pro source you receive, solely for use under this licence in those products.
- Let developers covered by your seats work with the package (private registry token).
3. What you may not do
Section titled “3. What you may not do”- Redistribute SalsaFX Pro as a library, UI kit, or competing product (npm package, fork, “wrapper”, or source dump).
- Share your registry token, licence file, or Pro source with anyone outside the licensed organisation / seats.
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices.
- Use Pro to provide a hosted service whose primary purpose is exposing SalsaFX components to third parties as a design system or component API (OEM / SaaS OEM needs a separate grant on the order).
Open-source @salsafx/ui remains AGPL; this commercial grant applies to Pro and to using Pro in a way that would otherwise trigger AGPL on your application.
4. Seats and scope
Section titled “4. Seats and scope”Unless the order says otherwise:
- A developer seat covers one person who writes or builds against SalsaFX Pro.
- Runtime use in Licensee’s deployed HMI (operators, browsers, panels) does not require a seat per operator.
- One organisation, as named on the invoice, unless OEM / multi-entity is listed on the order.
5. Support and updates
Section titled “5. Support and updates”Access to Pro builds and npm is for the term on the order (perpetual use of versions obtained while the licence was active, or subscription — as invoiced). Paid support, if any, is only for the period purchased.
6. Warranty and liability
Section titled “6. Warranty and liability”Software is provided as is. Licensor does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Licensor is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Licensor’s aggregate liability under this licence is limited to the fees paid for SalsaFX Pro in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Termination
Section titled “7. Termination”If Licensee materially breaches these terms and does not cure within 30 days of notice, the licence ends. On termination, stop using Pro and remove it from builds you still control. Sections 3, 6, 8, and 9 survive.
8. Governing law
Section titled “8. Governing law”Laws of the Slovak Republic. Courts of Bratislava, unless mandatory consumer rules say otherwise.
9. Entire agreement
Section titled “9. Entire agreement”These terms plus the order confirmation are the commercial licence. If they conflict, the order confirmation wins for quantity, term, and price.
